The first thing you’ll do? Grab a torch, which spins the whole wall around to reveal five pedestals. Your job? Track down all five orbs to unlock the final showdown.

The levels feel bigger this time, with some actually scrolling (a big deal back on the Amiga). The swamp and Black Forest are especially cool—you get this helicopter pack to fly around, but watch out, because it runs on gas. And yeah, you’ll need to actually find that gas first. Some enemies just chip away at your health instead of insta-killing you, which is… kind of merciful? But then there’s the elixir system—it protects you, but drains slowly, so you’re always hunting for food or backtracking to heal.

Oh, and bombs! You can blow up walls or enemies, which never gets old. The mazes are trickier, and there’s even a practice mode if you just want to mess around. Save points exist, but you’ve gotta hunt down a computer room first. And if you’re brave enough for Advanced mode, the ending’s different—no spoilers, but it’s worth the extra headache.

It’s still got that classic Dark Castle feel, just with more room to explore and a few surprises.
