Black Crypt is one of those old-school dungeon crawlers that makes you feel like you're actually mapping out a maze on graph paper—except it's all rendered in that chunky, atmospheric Amiga 3D. You get a party of four adventurers (fighter, cleric, mage, thief—classic setup) and dive into this crypt where some banished evil cleric named Estoroth is waking up again. Of course, it’s your job to stop him.
The first thing you’ll notice is how claustrophobic the corridors feel, with monsters lunging at you from the shadows. Combat’s real-time, so you’re frantically clicking attack buttons while trying not to get cornered. And yeah, you’ll get lost. A lot. But there’s something satisfying about slowly uncovering secrets, finding relics, and watching your party go from struggling against rats to taking on undead horrors.
