Black Crypt is one of those classic Amiga dungeon crawlers that feels like stepping into a dark, claustrophobic maze—in the best way possible. You’ve got this undead cleric, Estoroth, who’s been stewing in his crypt for decades, and now he’s back with a vengeance. Your job? Assemble a party of four adventurers (fighters, mages, clerics—the usual suspects) and dive deep into his lair to dig up the relics that banished him the first time.
It plays a lot like Dungeon Master or Eye of the Beholder—grid-based movement, first-person perspective, and that satisfyingly slow burn of uncovering secrets room by room. The atmosphere is thick, the monsters hit hard, and you’ll spend a lot of time squinting at spell scrolls trying to remember which rune combo casts a fireball. Just don’t expect hand-holding; this one’s for the patient, the meticulous, and anyone who loves mapping dungeons on graph paper.
