Game Overview
Blaster Master 2 is one of those weird, unofficial sequels that somehow slipped onto the Genesis back in the day. It's got the same basic setup as the first game—you're still hopping between your tank and on-foot sections—but something just feels off. The controls are a little stiff, the level design isn't as tight, and yeah, you can tell the original team wasn't involved.
That said, if you're a die-hard Blaster Master fan, it's kind of fascinating to poke around in. The graphics got a slight upgrade, and there are a few new weapons to mess with. Just don't expect it to live up to the first one.
