Play Blodia (Japan) Online
You control a tiny robot smashing falling blocks—simple until they pile up and you're frantically dropping bombs to survive. That clunky little bot and its panicked explosions grow on you fast.

Blodia for the Game Boy was released in Japan in 1990 by Hudson Soft. It arrived during a period when the handheld was filling with puzzle games, offering a different take on block clearing without the flash of some contemporaries. The game presents a straightforward concept that relies on quick decisions rather than complex mechanics.
You control a small robot at the bottom of the screen, tasked with destroying blocks that fall from above. Your main objective is to prevent the blocks from stacking too high; if they reach the top, it's game over. You move left and right to position yourself, then press a button to place a bomb that detonates after a short delay, clearing adjacent blocks. The pace starts slow but quickly becomes frantic as blocks drop faster and in trickier patterns. You need to think several moves ahead, especially when setting chain reactions or clearing a path to avoid getting cornered. It feels tense and satisfying when a well-placed bomb clears half the screen just in time.
