Blodia Land: Puzzle Quest came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, published by Jaleco. It was one of those late-era NES releases that tried something a little different, mixing puzzle mechanics with light action elements instead of just following platforming trends.

You control a small robot tasked with grouping other identical robots together on a single-screen grid. Enemies wander the stage, and you must push blocks to either crush foes or create safe paths, all while the playfield sometimes shifts or rearranges. The goal is to clear each stage by uniting all the Blodia robots, and the pacing stays methodical but tense, since a wrong move can trap you or leave you vulnerable. It feels like a tactical, slightly frantic dance of positioning and quick decisions.
