Play Castlevania II - Simon's Quest Online

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest came out on the NES in 1987 from Konami. It was a different kind of game from the first one, trying to do more with the hardware. Instead of just going from left to right through a castle, it opened up the world a bit, which felt new for the time.

You control Simon Belmont, a vampire hunter trying to find and destroy Dracula's five body parts to break a curse. You explore towns and the countryside, talking to villagers for clues and buying better weapons like a flame whip. The day and night cycle changes things; monsters get tougher after dark, and some townsfolk turn into hostile zombies. Figuring out what to do next can be confusing without a guide, as the hints from villagers are often cryptic. The whole experience feels like a lonely, puzzling hunt where you're never quite sure if you're on the right track.
