Play Gargoyle's Quest II Online

So Gargoyle's Quest II starts with Firebrand—this little red gargoyle dude—getting tossed into a mess when some shadowy force invades the Ghoul Realm. You play as him, bouncing between two totally different styles of gameplay that somehow work together.

One minute you're wandering villages from above, chatting up zombies for clues (weirdly charming, honestly), and the next you're side-scrolling through levels where Firebrand clings to walls, does these short bursts of flight, and lobs fireballs at anything that moves. At first his moves feel a bit stiff, but once you snag upgrades—better armor, longer flight—he turns into this nimble little terror. The contrast between slow, talky exploration and frantic action keeps it from feeling repetitive.
