Game Overview

Konami released Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PlayStation Portable in 2007. It's a 2.5D remake of Rondo of Blood, originally a PC Engine game, and it also includes the original Rondo and a version of Symphony of the Night. You control Richter Belmont, moving through side-scrolling stages filled with monsters, traps, and branching paths. Your main goal is to rescue the captives and ultimately defeat Dracula. The game encourages exploration to find alternate routes and hidden items, and the pacing is brisk but challenging, with enemy patterns that require attention.
