Play Uwol – Quest for Money Online

You're this half-naked guy scrambling through a looping pyramid mansion, snatching coins while Fanty the ghost chases you—get hit once and you lose your pants, which is as stressful as it sounds. The screen wraps around, so jumping feels weirdly unpredictable.

Game Overview

Uwol – Quest for Money is one of those weird little Genesis platformers that sticks with you. You play as this naked little dude (seriously, he starts in his underwear) running through a pyramid-shaped mansion, grabbing coins while dodging enemies. The whole screen-wrapping thing is cool—walk off one edge and you pop out the opposite side, which makes some of the platforming surprisingly tricky.

The levels are single-screen challenges where you’ve gotta grab every coin before time runs out. If you’re too slow, this nightmare ghost called Fanty shows up and chases you relentlessly. And yeah, enemies can’t be killed—just avoided. One hit strips Uwol down (awkward), and the next finishes him off. Finding a T-shirt power-up feels like a lifesaver.

What’s neat is how the mansion works: each room is a level, and collecting all coins opens two exits so you can choose your path. But if you reach the bottom without 255 coins? Game resets, forcing you to backtrack smarter. It’s simple but weirdly tense—like a mix of Pac-Man and a platformer with an identity crisis.

Also, the enemies are named Franky, Vampy, and Wolfy, which is either charming or lazy—I still can’t decide.
