Play Blues Brothers 2000 Online
Run through movie-inspired levels as Elwood Blues, punch cops, dodge obstacles, and smash stuff to collect musical notes and complete each stage in Blues Brothers 2000 for N64.
Blues Brothers 2000 came out for the Nintendo 64 in 2000, developed and published by Titus Interactive. It was one of those late-era N64 games that tried to capture the spirit of the film, but it landed with a bit of a thud among players who were used to tighter platformers and action titles. The game never really found a big audience, partly because the console's life was winding down and partly because it just felt a little out of step with what people expected.
You control Elwood Blues, and sometimes his brother, as you run through levels based on locations from the movie. The main goal is to complete each stage by punching cops, dodging obstacles, and smashing everything in your path to the sound of blues tracks. Signature mechanics include screen by screen exploration, simple beat-em-up combat, and collecting musical notes to progress. The pacing is uneven; some sections drag while others throw too much at you at once. It feels janky but oddly lovable, like a rhythm game that forgot to include the rhythm.
