1993 Amiga fighting game. 10 fighters, 6 planets. Single-player tournament or 2-8 player versus. Special moves via joystick combos or charged attacks.
Body Blows Galactic is that rare sequel that actually builds on the original without losing what made it fun. You pick either Dan or Junior (yep, the same guys from the first game) to rep Earth in this wild interplanetary brawl. The roster's full of weirdos—like the hulking rock-men from Gellorn-5 or the eerie shapeshifters from Miasma—and each pair of fighters has this cool backstory tied to their homeworld.
The controls are still that slick one-button system where you pull off specials by flicking the joystick mid-jump or holding down fire to charge. First time I played, I accidentally launched a spinning kick that KO'd my buddy's character, and we both just started laughing. There's a solid single-player ladder if you're flying solo, but the real magic happens in multiplayer—especially the 8-player tournament mode where chaos reigns and alliances last about as long as a sneeze.
It's got that classic Amiga charm where the pixels are chunky but full of personality, and the soundtrack slaps harder than some of the actual fighters. If you liked the original or just want a fighter that doesn't take itself too seriously, this one's a knockout.
