Play BookWorm (U)(Rising Sun) Online
You frantically link letters to feed Lex the worm, dodging burning tiles while he judges your vocabulary with those huge, expectant eyes. Longer words make him wiggle like you just served him a gourmet feast.

Game Overview
BookWorm on the GBA is one of those games that shouldn’t be as fun as it is—you’re basically spelling words for a cartoon worm, but somehow it’s weirdly satisfying. Lex, the little bookworm, stares at you with these big eyes while you scramble to connect letters before the tiles creep up. Mess up, and he gives you this look like you’ve personally disappointed him.
The red letters are the worst. They pop up randomly and start burning if you don’t use them fast enough, which adds this weird tension to what should be a chill word game. And the longer words you make, the more Lex wiggles around like you just handed him a five-course meal.
It’s got that early 2000s GBA vibe—bright colors, silly sound effects, and just enough challenge to make you mutter “one more try” at 2 AM. If you like word games but wish they had more personality (and a perpetually hungry worm), this one’s a blast.
