Boxxle is one of those deceptively simple Game Boy puzzlers where you push crates onto marked spots—sounds easy, right? Then you realize halfway through a level that you just blocked yourself into a corner because you didn’t think three moves ahead. The panic is real.
There’s a ton of levels (25 main ones, each with 10 sub-levels), and you can tackle the sub-levels in any order. I like that—sometimes you just need to skip a frustrating one and come back later. And if you ever get truly stuck or beat everything, there’s a level editor to make your own devious puzzles. Just don’t blame me when you accidentally design something impossible.
It’s basically Soko-Ban but with that classic Game Boy charm. Perfect for short bursts or long “how did I mess this up?” sessions.
