Play Bubba ‘n’ Stix Online
Bubba teams up with a talking stick named Stix—swing him like a grappling hook, smack enemies, or turn him into a ladder to navigate this bizarre alien world. The puzzles get clever once you realize Stix can basically become whatever tool you need.

Game Overview
Bubba 'n' Stix is one of those weirdly charming Genesis platformers where nothing makes sense in the best way. You play as Bubba, a zoo delivery guy who gets abducted by aliens—only to crash-land on their planet with a sentient twig named Stix as your sidekick. Yeah, it’s that kind of game.
Stix is the real star here. He latches onto stuff, acts as a weapon, and basically turns into whatever tool you need to solve puzzles. At first, I kept forgetting I could use him to swing across gaps or whack enemies, but once it clicks, the levels start feeling like playgrounds. The puzzles aren’t just "hit a switch"—you’ll be bouncing Stix off walls, using him as a makeshift ladder, or even tossing him to trigger stuff from a distance.
The levels are packed with little alien blobs to collect (they matter for bonus stages later) and some genuinely creative obstacles. One minute you’re dodging giant rolling fruit, the next you’re platforming over quicksand while a weird frog-thing chases you. The music’s upbeat, the colors are bright, and the whole thing has this goofy energy that makes even the frustrating bits feel worth it.
Just don’t expect it to hold your hand. Some puzzles take trial and error, and the controls take a minute to feel natural. But if you stick with it, there’s a lot of personality here. It’s the kind of game where you finish a level and immediately want to see what bizarre thing happens next.
