Game Overview

So, Cannon Fodder 2—same chaotic little soldiers, same "why did I just lose half my squad to a single grenade?" frustration, but now with time travel. You still guide your team through jungles and villages, but suddenly you're dodging alien lasers or blasting through medieval castles. The shift in scenery keeps it from feeling like a straight rehash.

The vehicles are a nice touch—nothing like mowing down enemies with a jeep or accidentally flipping your tank into a lake. Grenades and rockets feel way more satisfying than bullets, especially when you wipe out a whole enemy hut in one shot. Just don’t waste them early—some levels practically demand you save the big guns for later.

It’s still brutally unforgiving if you charge in blindly, but finding cover behind rocks or trees makes all the difference. That one soldier who survives against all odds? You’ll get weirdly attached to them.
