Play Captive Amiga Online
1990 Amiga RPG. Control four droids in first-person dungeon crawls. Upgrade droids with weapons and chips. Explore sci-fi labyrinths, solve puzzles, battle enemies, and uncover clues across planets.

Captive came out on the Amiga in 1990, published by Mindscape International. It was part of that wave of first-person dungeon crawlers, but it swapped out the usual fantasy setting for a sci-fi one. You weren't a lone hero; you managed a team of four combat droids, which felt pretty fresh at the time.
You control the droids from a first-person perspective, moving them screen by screen through complex, multi-level installations. Your main goal is to find and rescue your captured human operator from a network of alien-controlled planets. You upgrade your droids with better weapons, armor, and computer chips you find or buy, and you need to solve environmental puzzles and fight off hostile creatures to progress. The game is methodical and quite difficult, demanding careful resource management and mapping. It feels like directing a squad of robots through a hostile, intricate world where every corner could hide a new threat or a vital piece of equipment.
