Play Card e-Reader (U)(Independent) Online
Slide GBA cards to unlock NES games and weird minigames—if you can track down the cards, that is. Mostly a nostalgia trip for Nintendo collectors now.

Game Overview
So the Card e-Reader for GBA is this weird little add-on that lets you scan trading cards to unlock stuff—mostly NES games and minigames. It’s kind of a hassle though, since you need the actual physical cards (or, y’know, other ways to get the data if you don’t have them).
When you first boot it up, you’re basically staring at this blank slate waiting for you to swipe a card. The interface is super barebones, just a grid where unlocked stuff pops up. I remember scanning a few Animal Crossing cards back in the day and getting these weird little minigames—nothing amazing, but fun for a few minutes.
Honestly, the coolest part was unlocking full NES games, but good luck finding the cards for those now. It’s a neat piece of Nintendo history, just don’t expect it to be super practical these days.
