Okay, so Care Bears: The Care Quests is way more fun than I expected. You start off in Care-a-Lot—which looks like someone spilled a bag of Skittles everywhere—and immediately get thrown into helping these adorable bears stop Professor Coldheart from being, well, cold-hearted. Classic villain move.
It’s part platformer, part puzzle game, with mini-games sprinkled in. You’ll bounce on clouds, collect rainbow pieces (because of course), and solve little problems for other characters. The controls are simple, but there’s something satisfying about making Grumpy Bear slightly less grumpy by helping someone. And yes, you actually shoot Care Bear Stares at enemies. It’s ridiculous in the best way.
Not gonna lie, it’s definitely aimed at younger players, but if you grew up with Care Bears or just want something unapologetically cheerful, this is a weirdly charming little GBA gem. Just don’t go in expecting deep mechanics—it’s pure, sugary nostalgia with a side of cloud-hopping.
