Game Overview
Okay, so Care Bears: The Care Quests on the GBA is basically like playing through a lost episode of the old cartoon—but with buttons. You start off picking your favorite bear (obviously I went with Grumpy first, because mood) and then it’s all about bouncing around Care-a-Lot fixing little problems. Some kid’s sad? Throw ’em a Care Bear Stare. Professor Coldheart being a nuisance? Time for some very polite teamwork.
The puzzles aren’t exactly brain-melters—more like "push this cloud into place" or "find the right bear for the job"—but that’s kinda the point. It’s got that pastel, squishy look straight out of the ‘80s, and the music’s so cheerful it’s almost dangerous. My only complaint? Wish it was longer. But if you’ve got a soft spot for these guys, or just want something stupidly wholesome for a lazy afternoon, it’s hard to hate.
Also, yes, I did try to see if you could make Grumpy Bear smile. No spoilers.
