Okay, so Carthage_Disk2 is this weirdly addictive Amiga game where you're basically trying to stop the Romans from steamrolling ancient Carthage. At first glance, it looks like a straightforward strategy thing—you've got your armies, some catapults hidden around the map, and elephants (because of course there are elephants). But then it gets weird in the best way.
Your troops level up if they win fights, but push them too hard and they just get tired and grumpy. And here's the kicker: to pay them, you've got to manage trade routes, which means suddenly you're in this bizarre chariot racing minigame dodging rocks, trees, and—for some reason—Roman chariots going the same direction as you? Lose that race, and your soldiers don't get paid. Good luck keeping morale up after that.
It shouldn't work, but somehow the mix of strategy, random arcade chaos, and watching your elephant units absolutely wreck formations just clicks. Just don't question the chariot physics.
