Play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (E)(Independent) Online
You run around Wonka’s factory as Charlie, fixing the other kids’ messes—Violet’s a blueberry now, great—while dodging Oompa-Loompas who might help or just sing at you. The controls are a bit clunky, but the candy-coated chaos feels right for the movie.

I picked up Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the Game Boy Advance back in 2005. It was developed by High Voltage Software and published by Global Star Software, one of those many licensed games that filled the portable library at the time. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just offered a straightforward adventure based on the film, which was exactly what some of us wanted from a GBA title.
You play as Charlie Bucket, navigating through the bizarre rooms of Willy Wonka's factory. The main goal is to clean up the messes left by the other children, like helping Violet after she turns into a giant blueberry. You explore screen by screen, avoiding hazards and interacting with Oompa-Loompas who might assist you or simply break into song. The platforming can feel a bit stiff, and some sections demand precise jumps, but the pacing stays light. It captures the feeling of moving through a unpredictable, candy filled world where anything can happen.
