Chopper Attack came out on the Nintendo 64 in 1997, developed by Midway Games. It was one of those straightforward action titles that filled out the N64 library, offering a simple arcade style experience without much fuss or cinematic ambition. You got in, you blew things up, and that was pretty much the deal.

You pilot a helicopter through a series of missions, destroying enemy vehicles, structures, and aircraft. The main goal is to complete objectives, survive incoming fire, and occasionally rescue hostages. Key mechanics include selecting from different helicopter models, each with unique handling, and collecting power-ups to upgrade your weapons and armor. The pace is fast, the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, and it feels like a no-nonsense arcade shooter translated to the console.
