Play Circus Charlie (Japan) Online
Guide Charlie the clown through circus acts, jump over lions, bounce on trampolines, and time your hops to avoid obstacles in this classic NES platformer from 1986.

Circus Charlie came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986, developed and published by Konami. It was part of that early wave of NES games where the action was simple, bright, and often unforgiving. You played as a circus performer trying to make it through a series of themed acts, each with its own obstacles and rhythm.
You control Charlie, a small clown in a red outfit, and guide him through six different circus stages. Your goal is to complete each act without losing all your lives. Key actions include jumping over lions as they leap, bouncing on trampolines to catch trapeze bars, and timing your hops across the backs of galloping horses. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty spikes noticeably in later stages, especially on the unicycle or during the tightrope walk. It feels tense and precise, demanding sharp reflexes and a good sense of timing to succeed.
