This version expanded on the classic formula, adding new suspects, weapons, and rooms to the familiar mystery, giving players more variables to juggle as they worked through each case.
You control one of the suspects, moving from room to room in a mansion to gather clues and make accusations. The main objective is to deduce the correct combination of murderer, weapon, and location before your opponents. Key mechanics include questioning non-player characters to reveal card holdings and using notepads to track possibilities across three difficulty levels. The pacing is deliberate, focused on observation and logic rather than speed, and it feels satisfying to slowly narrow down the truth through careful deduction.
