Play Clystron Online
1991 Amiga action-platformer. Control a cyborg walker to collect 8 machine parts in 15 minutes. Unconventional movement: stops only when pressing down, actions require mid-stride timing. New areas unlock with progress.

Game Overview
Alright, so Clystron is one of those old-school Amiga platformers that feels a little janky at first but weirdly charming once you get into it. You play as this clunky cyborg walker-thing, stomping around to collect eight machine parts—but here’s the catch: you’ve got to grab them in the right order, and you’ve only got 15 minutes to pull it off. Mess up the sequence or run out of time, and it’s game over.
The controls take some getting used to. Your robot just keeps walking in one direction until you jam the joystick down to stop—which feels bizarre at first, like your bot has a mind of its own. Jumping and shooting? Yeah, you can only do those while moving, so timing is everything. The Amiga version at least lets you stop when you release the movement key (unlike the original C64 release), but it’s still a learning curve.
Visually, it’s got that gritty, metallic 16-bit vibe, and the music’s surprisingly good—apparently the C64 version was praised for it, and the Amiga port holds up. Just don’t expect smooth platforming; this one’s more about patience and memorization than reflexes. If you’re into retro oddities with a challenge, it’s worth a look—just brace yourself for some frustration early on.
