Game Overview
Cosmic Spacehead on the Amiga is this weird little gem where you play as Linus, an alien who somehow ended up crash-landing on Earth—and now nobody back home believes him. So of course, you’ve gotta help him sneak back to our planet to grab proof (photos, apparently, are the universal language of "I told you so").
The game splits into two totally different vibes: one part point-and-click adventure where you cobble together sentences by clicking on objects (feels very old-school LucasArts), and the other part side-scrolling platformer where you’re dodging creatures and jumping over pits. The cool thing? Once you beat an action section, you never have to replay it—just zip back through those areas hassle-free. And thank goodness for passwords, because some of those jumps are brutal.
It’s quirky, a bit janky in that classic Amiga way, and honestly kind of charming once you get the hang of the oddball dialogue system. Just don’t blame me if you get stuck trying to figure out what to say to the talking mailbox.
