Play Cosmo Police Online
You blast through alien hideouts as a space cop with a ridiculous helmet, dodging lasers and fighting screen-filling bosses to a killer 80s synth soundtrack.

Game Overview
Cosmo Police is one of those NES games that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day, which is a shame because it’s basically a neon-soaked love letter to 80s sci-fi action. You play as a space cop (complete with a hilariously oversized helmet) blasting through asteroid bases and alien hideouts—it’s like someone took the best parts of Contra and Blaster Master and cranked the weirdness up a notch.
The first level throws you right into the chaos: dodging laser fire, jumping over bottomless pits, and figuring out that some enemies explode in a satisfying shower of pixels. The soundtrack? Pure synthwave before synthwave was even a thing. And those bosses—huge, screen-filling monstrosities that feel impossible until you memorize their patterns (and maybe yell at the TV a little).
It’s tough as nails in that classic NES way, but there’s something addictive about the rhythm of it. Once you get the hang of the power-ups—like the spread shot that turns your gun into a fireworks display—you’ll keep coming back just to see how far you can push it. A total time capsule of 8-bit action, warts and all.
