Game Overview

Cricket Amiga came out in 1993 for the Amiga, developed by Audiogenic. It was one of the better cricket games available on the platform at the time, offering a solid simulation of the sport without overcomplicating things.

You control the entire cricket team, handling batting, bowling, and fielding. The main goal is to outscore your opponent, either by setting a high total or chasing one down. Batting involves timing your shots with a simple button press, while bowling lets you choose the type and direction of your delivery. Fielding is mostly automated, but you can position players between overs. The game moves at a steady pace, and the difficulty feels fair, with a good balance between batting and bowling challenges. It feels satisfying to build an innings or take a crucial wicket.
