Game Overview

Crime City is one of those Amiga point-and-clicks that starts simple—you're just a struggling writer named Mr. White, staring at a blank page—until a woman shows up claiming your dad’s been framed for murder. Suddenly, you’re playing detective for real.

What’s cool is how it mixes classic adventure puzzles with this weirdly realistic economy. Need to bribe someone or take the subway? Better check your wallet first. The stock market minigame is janky but weirdly addictive once you figure it out. And yeah, the guy actually gets tired if you keep him awake too long—try solving a murder while fighting off sleep and you’ll see what I mean.

It’s got that old-school charm where the pixel art somehow makes a grimy city feel alive, even when you’re just clicking through dialogue. Just don’t expect hand-holding—half the fun is figuring out why that random item in your inventory matters three screens later.
