Game Overview

You play as Inspector Dusentier, who thought he was in for a breezy cruise—until his shady host turns up dead on day two. Now you're stuck on a floating murder mystery where everyone, from the grieving (but not that grieving) family to the suspiciously serene priest, has something to hide. No locked-room puzzles here—instead, you’ll poke around the ship, badger passengers at just the right moment, and watch as new clues magically pop up in places you swear you checked earlier.

The game’s got that slick Delphine point-and-click interface where the cursor changes when you hover over something useful. Left-click to see what you can do (open, take, talk), right-click to rifle through your inventory. Time jumps forward in 10-minute chunks whenever you uncover something juicy, which keeps things moving—though good luck predicting where the suspects will wander off to next. The polygonal characters look a bit stiff by today’s standards, but the Agatha Christie-style tension holds up.

Just don’t expect to brute-force your way through. Half the challenge is figuring out who to corner, and when, before they clam up or vanish into another part of the ship.
