Okay, so Cytron is this weird little Amiga gem where you play as a robot trying to clean up a research facility gone haywire. Picture Paradroid meets Alien Breed, but with way more sliding around—your bot has this weird momentum where stopping feels like trying to park a shopping cart on ice. Takes some getting used to, but it’s part of the charm.
The coolest bit? You can split into two separate bots, Cyt and Ron, kinda like Head Over Heels. Need to hit a switch across the room to open a door? Send Cyt scrambling over while Ron waits by the barrier. It’s clunky in that very ‘90s way, but once you get the hang of it, pulling off those split-second maneuvers feels oddly satisfying.
Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—those rogue robots don’t mess around.
