Game Overview
Demikids Dark Version is one of those weird little GBA RPGs that flew under the radar—it's basically Pokémon but with demons, and way more attitude. You start off summoning these little monster buddies (some look ridiculous, others are legit cool) and then wander through this gloomy world where humans and demons are constantly at each other's throats.
The combat's familiar if you've played any monster-collecting game, but the fusion system is where it gets fun—mashing two demons together and seeing what pops out never gets old. Dark Version's got some exclusive demons that Light doesn't, like this edgy reaper dude who carried my team halfway through the game.
It's janky in that early 2000s handheld RPG way, but if you dig SMT vibes with simpler mechanics, it's a solid time-waster.
