Disney's Herbie - Fully Loaded on GBA is way more fun than I expected from a movie tie-in. You're basically racing as this little VW Bug with attitude—Herbie does these cheeky little skids and jumps that make the races feel chaotic in the best way. The tracks are bright and cartoony, with shortcuts that only Herbie can pull off because, well, he's got a mind of his own.
At first I thought it'd be just another basic racer, but there's something oddly satisfying about weaving through traffic while your car occasionally decides to take matters into its own... wheels? The controls are simple enough that you can pick it up fast, but some of the later races actually get pretty intense. If you ever wanted to out-drive snobby sports cars in a Beetle that barely looks like it should be on a track, this is your chance.
It’s got that early 2000s Disney charm—corny but in a way that makes you grin when Herbie starts bouncing around after a win.
