Donald Duck: Quack Attack came out on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, developed by Disney Interactive and published by Ubisoft. It was part of that wave of late-era N64 platformers, a time when 3D collectathons were still a popular genre, and this one fit right in with its cartoonish style and straightforward goals.
You control Donald Duck through a series of themed worlds, jumping on platforms, defeating enemies with a spin attack, and collecting stars to unlock new areas. The main objective is to rescue Daisy and the nephews from Pete, which involves navigating levels, solving simple puzzles, and gathering enough items to progress. The pacing is generally relaxed, though some later stages can get tricky with their platforming demands. It feels like a cheerful, if occasionally repetitive, Saturday morning cartoon brought to life.
