Game Overview
Double Agent takes the classic Spy vs. Spy formula and cranks it up for the Amiga. You and a friend (or the AI) race to complete missions like stealing documents or snapping photos before the other guy—while setting ridiculous traps along the way. I love how you can rig a desk to drop a heavy ball on someone or hide an electrified gadget in a potted plant. Half the fun is watching your opponent walk right into it.
But watch out—after a while, a third agent shows up to ruin everyone’s day, planting even more traps and taking potshots with a shotgun. If you die, you respawn empty-handed, which makes those late-game scrambles hilariously chaotic. The DOS version adds some slick cutscenes and lets you pick from different agents, but the core gameplay is all about out-sneaking (or out-bumbling) your rival. Just don’t trust any filing cabinets.
