Double Strike throws you into the cockpit of the Thrasher Hawk-7, a prototype fighter jet tasked with clearing nine tropical islands from a terrorist group called DAMED. The islands look straight out of a postcard—until you spot enemy bases tucked between palm trees. The first few minutes are pure chaos: dodging bullets, figuring out which enemies drop power-ups (the spread shot is a lifesaver), and realizing those 'extra lives' icons disappear way too fast. It's classic NES action—tough but fair, with just enough weapon variety to keep you experimenting.
