Play Dynablaster Online
Dropping pocket-sized bombs in tight corridors, dodging blasts while trying to outmaneuver friends—it’s pure chaos crammed into a Game Boy screen. That moment when you trick someone into walking straight into your explosion never gets old.

I first played Dynablaster on the Game Boy back in 1991, a time when portable gaming was still mostly about simple, quick sessions. Hudson Soft released it, and it was one of those games you'd pass around with friends during a long car ride or between classes. It didn't try to be epic; it was just a solid, focused experience built for the hardware it was on.
You control a small character who moves through maze-like levels, placing bombs to destroy blocks and defeat enemies. The main goal is to clear each screen of all enemies to advance, while also avoiding getting caught in your own explosions or those of your opponents. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups that increase your bomb blast radius or the number of bombs you can place at once, and sometimes facing off against other players in competitive modes. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as enemies get smarter and levels more complex. It feels tense and rewarding when you set up a chain reaction that clears half the stage.
