Dynamite Duke is one of those classic Sega Genesis shooters where you play as a half-robot badass mowing down mutants from a behind-the-back perspective. The action's fast, the explosions are chunky, and the enemies just keep coming—it's got that arcade vibe where you're constantly dodging bullets while blasting everything in sight.
What I love is how ridiculous it feels—you're this cybernetic Duke (no relation to that Duke), armed with a machine gun that never seems to run out of ammo, taking on waves of goons who explode into little pixelated chunks. The controls are simple—just aim and shoot—but the challenge ramps up fast when enemies start swarming from all angles.
It's not the deepest shooter out there, but if you're into that old-school, no-nonsense arcade action, this one still holds up surprisingly well.
