You’ve got 20 missions to blast them back where they came from. The cockpit view makes it feel almost like a sim at first, with all these dials and damage readouts (yes, your wings can get shredded mid-flight), but don’t be fooled—it’s a shooter through and through. The radar points you toward objectives, but half the fun is veering off course to mow down swarms of enemies. Some drop power-ups, like weapon upgrades or extra ammo, which you’ll desperately need when your targeting system starts glitching after taking too many hits.

It’s chaotic, a little janky in that classic ‘90s way, and weirdly satisfying when you finally take down a boss after your third attempt. The ocean landscapes actually look decent for the era, too—just don’t stare too long before something rams you from below.
