Enchanted Land came out on the Amiga in 1991 from Thalion Software. It was part of that wave of platformers that really tried to push what the hardware could do visually, with big, colorful sprites and detailed backgrounds. The game doesn't get talked about as much as some others from that time, but it has a dedicated following.

You control Kurgan, a warrior on a quest to defeat an evil sorcerer. The main goal is to explore five large levels, screen by screen, collecting pieces of a magical heart to restore peace. You'll use a selection of twelve different weapons, from swords to throwing axes, and manage a limited supply of magic crystals to power your special attacks. The pacing is deliberate, with some tricky enemy placements and platforming sections that demand careful timing. Playing it feels like a methodical trek through a hostile, beautifully drawn world where every jump and every crystal spent matters.
