Game Overview

Dino Land came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991, developed by Wolf Team and published by Renovation. It was part of that wave of early 90s games that tried to blend familiar concepts with a unique hook, in this case pinball mechanics set against a prehistoric backdrop. You don't see many dinosaur pinball hybrids, even from that experimental era.

You control the flippers to launch and direct a ball across four distinct tables, each with its own objectives. The main goal is to complete specific tasks on each table, like defeating a T-Rex by hitting it repeatedly or rescuing a character trapped by a pterodactyl. The game uses screen by screen exploration, locking you into one section of a table until you trigger the event that opens the next area. It's a methodical, sometimes frustrating process, as the physics can feel unpredictable and a single mistake can cost you a ball. Playing it feels like a constant negotiation between careful aim and chaotic chance.
