Game Overview
This sequel throws you into the cockpit across four intense campaigns—Libya, the Persian Gulf, the Middle East, and Vietnam—with a ridiculous amount of airspace to cover. You’ll juggle between dogfights and bombing runs, switching between AMRAAMs for long-range snipes, Sidewinders for close scraps, and Mavericks to blow stuff up on the ground. The targeting computer’s a lifesaver when enemy jets start pulling evasive maneuvers.
What really sells it are the camera angles—11 of them, including cockpit views that make you feel like you’re actually flying. The Director’s Mode cuts away mid-mission to show missiles slamming into targets or enemy bases scrambling fighters, which keeps things cinematic. And if you’re new, training mode lets you skip the tricky takeoffs and landings until you get the hang of it. Just don’t get too comfortable—those SAM sites don’t miss often.
