Play Famicom Mini 22 : Nazo no Murasame Jou Online

Dodge ninjas in a chaotic sword frenzy—Takamaru’s cursed castle adventure is pure, relentless action with zero breathing room. Feels like Zelda cranked to 11 and stripped down to just the swordplay panic.

Game Overview

Ever stumble across a game that feels like Zelda if it chugged an energy drink and went full samurai? That’s Nazo no Murasame Jou—a frantic, blade-swinging rush where ninjas swarm you like angry hornets and dodging feels like threading a needle mid-battle. You play as Takamaru, some poor guy who just wanted a quiet evening until a cursed castle started spewing monsters everywhere.

Originally stuck in Japan on the Famicom, this GBA port is your ticket to one of Nintendo’s weirdest, coolest action games. No puzzles, no hand-holding—just you, a sword, and about a hundred enemies who really don’t want you reaching that castle. The music’s eerie, the pace is “oh-crap-I’m-surrounded,” and the whole thing feels like playing an arcade cabinet someone left running in a feudal-era alleyway. If you’ve ever wished Zelda had less “push blocks” and more “desperately backflipping over shurikens,” here’s your fix.

Fair warning: you’ll die. A lot. But when you finally clear a screen without getting stabbed? Pure adrenaline.
