Fantastic 4: Flame On came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Torus Games. It was one of many licensed titles on the system, released around the time of the movie, and it focused on Johnny Storm's solo adventures. The game didn't get much attention, but it offered a straightforward action experience for fans of the character.
You control the Human Torch, flying and flaming through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to defeat enemies, clear obstacles, and reach the end of each stage. Signature mechanics include using your flame to melt ice barriers and enemies, collecting orbs to upgrade your firepower, and navigating environmental hazards. The pacing is quick, though the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages. It feels satisfying to burn through everything in your path, even if the level design is sometimes repetitive.
