Fantastic 4: Flame On came out on Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Activision. It was one of many licensed games from that era, built around the superhero team's movie release. The handheld was full of these kinds of tie-ins, and this one put you right in the middle of the action as Johnny Storm.
You control the Human Torch, flying through side scrolling levels and fighting waves of Skrull invaders. The main goal is to clear each stage of enemies and obstacles, often by burning through barriers or defeating a boss. Signature mechanics include shooting fireballs, performing a super move when your flame meter is full, and navigating environmental puzzles that require careful use of your flight. The pacing is brisk, though the controls take some adjustment; they feel a bit loose at first.
