Flink's one of those weirdly charming Genesis platformers that never got enough love. You play as this little wizard apprentice who has to rescue four elders from Wicked Wainwright (great villain name, by the way). The first thing you'll notice is how smooth the animation is—Flink's cape flows behind him when he runs, and his magic staff actually feels weighty when you swing it.

What I dig is how the magic system works. You start with basic spells, but you're constantly finding new ones hidden in weird places—like behind breakable walls or after tricky jumps. The fireball's obvious, but the bubble spell that lets you float? That one took me forever to find. Levels have this cool mix of platforming and light puzzle-solving where you gotta figure out which spell opens which door.

It's got that classic '90s difficulty curve where the first few screens lull you into thinking it's easy, then suddenly you're dodging lava pits while floating on bubbles. Still holds up if you're into retro platformers with personality.
