Play Flintstones, The (Beta) Online
You play as Fred smashing rocks and hopping on dinosaurs in this rough-but-charming beta—glitchy animations, chunky 16-bit vibes, and all the weird little details that make it feel like a lost Flintstones episode.

I picked up a copy of The Flintstones for the Super Nintendo, released by Taito in 1995. It's a side-scrolling platformer from that era when licensed games were everywhere, and this one has a certain rough, unfinished charm to it, especially if you're playing the beta version. The graphics are colorful and chunky in that classic 16-bit way, with some quirky animations that make it feel like a strange, lost episode of the show.
You control Fred Flintstone, moving screen by screen through prehistoric environments. Your main goal is to rescue Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, which involves a lot of jumping, hitting enemies with your club, and smashing rocks to find items. One of the signature mechanics is using dinosaurs in different ways; you can ride some, use others as platforms, or trigger them to clear a path. The pacing is deliberate, and it can be surprisingly tricky with some mean enemy placements and precise jumps required. It feels like a solid, if unpolished, take on the platforming genre, with just enough variety and challenge to keep you pushing forward.
