Flushed Away came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, published by D3Publisher. It was one of those licensed platformers that showed up a lot on the GBA, especially near the end of the system's life. The game follows the movie's plot, putting you in the sewers as Roddy, a pampered pet rat who gets flushed down the toilet into a bustling, grimy underworld.

You control Roddy through side-scrolling levels, jumping across floating trash, avoiding hazards, and fighting off frogs with basic attacks. The main goal is to navigate the sewer city, find your way back home, and stop the villainous Toad. A couple of the mechanics include using items from the environment, like bouncing on trash bags, and outsmarting enemies with simple combat. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some sections can feel a bit repetitive. It’s a simple, sometimes clunky game, but it has a certain charm that makes it fun to mess around with for a while.
