Game Overview
Flushed Away on the DS is one of those weirdly charming licensed games that actually gets the movie’s vibe right. You play as Roddy, the pampered pet rat who gets—you guessed it—flushed into the sewers, and suddenly you’re dodging water droplets, bouncing on pipes, and outrunning a very determined frog henchman.
The controls are simple—mostly jumping and swiping with the stylus—but some of the sewer puzzles actually make you stop and think for a second. And the little cutscenes between levels? Surprisingly funny, especially if you remember the movie’s weird sense of humor.
It’s not gonna blow your mind, but for a quick DS adventure with some decent platforming and a few laughs, it holds up better than most movie tie-ins. Just watch out for those sudden water surges.
